Summary
NoS synopsis: "Filmed at Crystal Palace". "These are not the kind of toys the kiddies love to break up - they’re blue-blooded Champions of Dogland." M/S of group of ladies holding dogs on their laps. They are all middle aged ladies with cloche hats on. C/U of three women grooming their pets. The women all wear numbers on their coats. M/S of a woman painting a portrait of a little dog in a cage. "All aristocrats of long lineage and expensive tastes - " The women "show" their dogs. A judge approaches the table and looks at the dogs. C/U of woman holding her dog. C/U of a fluffy white dog. Various shots of dogs and their lady owners. C/U of little dog sitting up on its hind legs for its owner. "The Waltzer - Champion Chitto from Japan." C/U of strange looking dog. Dog walks round and round in circles. "A diminutive Griffon - net weight under 2 lbs!" C/U of tiny black dog sitting inside a prize cup. "White ones - Pekingese - (and very valuable)." C/U of woman with three Pekingese (Pekinese) - two sitting in trophy cups.
