Summary

British Pathe synopsis: Various shots of a netball game in progress. The girls wear gymslips and dark tights. M/S of the audience. More shots of the schoolgirls playing. "To quick-witted girls it’s a real game for go-getting goal-getting - " Low angle shot of play. Another shot of the spectators - some men amongst this group. We see a shot being scored. "And when the long days come, why not cricket?" L/S of a cricket match. M/S of four elderly male spectators. "Eve has proved she can bowl as well as bat - " L/Ss of the girls’ match in progress. We see some of the action in slow motion. "No "maidens over" in this one - " More slow motion footage of a shot being taken and a run being made. Various shots of the action in slow motion.
