Summary
NoS Summary - shop dummies made and painted in Berlin.
British Pathe synopsis: Various shots of mannequins being made - we see excess plastic being trimmed from the waist of a model. L/S of bottom halves of mannequins lined up. "Moulding those girlish figures - " A model is pulled from a mould. C/U of man using a scalpel to scrape away at a mannequin’s cheek. "The ladies require a different kind of painting, said Mr Edmond Bohn." A mannequin is turned and paint or varnish is applied with a spray gun. Panning shot of men in the workshop painting hair and features of the models. L/S of a finished model. An artistically posed mannequin is turned for the camera.
