Summary
NoS Summary - snow scenes at Buxton.
British Pathe synopsis: Shot of a snowy landscape with people skiing and sledging down a hill. M/S of young boys pulling their sledges up the hill. Two girls smile at the camera then set off down the snowy hill. Two figures make their way up a snowy hillside on skis. We then see them ski off down the hillside. "This is the kind of "great outdoors" that Eve favours when those deep depressions forsake Iceland for our land." M/S of four teenage girls walking towards the camera arm in arm. Shot of youngsters pulling sledges. "A run on this is worth two in a stocking - " Various shots of the sledging. A woman and child come down the snowy hillside. We then see footage of the sledging speeded up. Four girls and two young boys throw snowballs at the cameramen. "But, our Camera got its own back when it threw the snowballs back again - " Film is reversed so that they seem to be catching the snowballs.
