Summary
British Pathe synopsis: "Filmed at Seaview on the Isle of Wight". C/U of a boat called Mercury speeding along with eight "bright young things" as passengers. The men wear suits and the girls wear bathing suits. They wave to the cameraman. C/U of one of the girls sitting on the back of the boat. M/S of one of the girls water skiing on a mono ski. Shot from beside the boat with the boys watching the woman water skiing behind the boat. Shot from the back of the boat of the water skier. M/S of two women on the ski. One holds the other around the waist. One on the back falls off and into the sea, then the other woman falls in. A change of scene, punting at Shepperton. L/S of a female punter in a white dress propelling a punt along a river at great speed. A man walks his dog along the river bank and watches her. We see her punting in slow motion. Another woman follows her. Intertitle states: "This is one of the greatest arm and shoulder developers in sport - " L/S of two two women punting - possibly racing each other.
