British Pathe synopsis: Victoria Regia is the queen of all Water Lilies, found in the far backwaters of the Amazon. Interior of a hothouse - probably at Kew Gardens, where several people look at the extremely large Water Lilies. C/U of the leaves of the Water Lilies. C/U of the flower. Dissolve into wider shot showing the pool of Water Lilies with a sign which gives the Latin name for the plant. "A safe harbour for doggie" reads an intertitle. C/U of a dog sitting on a piece of wood on one of the large leaves.
