Summary

British Pathe synopsis: Craft of making butterflies from wire and beads is demonstrated for the cinema-goer. M/S of woman seated at a table showing the camera a spool of wire and collection of beads. C/U of a woman’s hands as she threads beads onto the wire. C/U of the hands to show how each bead is secured by twisting the wires. Two circular beads which represent the antennae of the butterfly are affixed. Various shots show how the wings are made. A brooch pin is fixed to the back. Several bead butterflies are shown to the camera. C/U of a shoe which has a butterfly affixed as a decoration. C/U of a woman who wears a butterfly brooch. C/U of a butterfly used to secure a fabric belt on a dress. C/U of a butterfly used to decorate the back of the hair. Woman turns to face the camera.
