Summary

NoS Summary - Joan Lowell who has sailed the seven seas.
British Pathe synopsis: We are introduced to: "A real Sailor Girl - and one who has sailed the Seven Seas." C/U of a smiling woman who sits astride a large rope and reads a book. We then see her climb up between two ropes. She waves to the camera. Low angle shot of the sailor girl. "Joan Lowell is her name and she is qualified in every way to take the wheel - (or anything else)." C/U of Joan at the wheel. The ship is in dock and not moving at all but she makes exaggerated movements as if steering the boat through high seas! C/U of her concentrated face. She spits over her shoulder! C/U of Joan smiling.
