Summary
NoS Summary - Florida item of a girl and a turtle.
British Pathe synopsis: C/U of a turtle making its way across a sandy beach. C/U of the turtle as it moves towards the camera. The turtle reaches the sea and has a little swim in the shallow water. Intertitle reads: "Very undignified for a turtle of the best family" - shot of a turtle on its back waving its legs in the air. Woman approaches the turtle and goes up close to it (it is about 4 foot long). The woman kneels down beside it then struggles to turn it over. "A modern version of a very old fable." Two young boys sit in go-carts which they have attached to two turtles. They whip the turtles to make them move along the sand.
