Summary
NoS Summary - Mrs Puleston is featured - she has made a large model village.
British Pathe synopsis: "We’ve often heard of the lady to whom men are as clay in her dainty hands. Here’s a lady more accustomed to animals in clay." High angle shot of a model railway. Train pulls into a station. "Once in the village you have time to look round - if you’re careful with your feet - " Various shots of this model village. Man walks with a dog through the garden which houses this tiny village. Two women also look at the miniature houses. "Months of painstaking work have been occupied in building "Goose Green", but as a pastime, it has been well worth the trouble", said Mrs Puleston." M/S of an elderly woman sitting on the porch of a house painting a model house. A man stands at the table sawing a small piece of wood. C/U of Mrs Puleston painting the house. She holds it up to look at it then paints. L/S from high angle of the village. Camera pans across the village green, pond, houses etc. "Farms, houses - everything complete - " Some of the houses have smoke coming out of their chimneys.
