Summary
NoS Summary - Lyons Corner House waitresses from Sudbury have a tug of war match.
British Pathe synopsis: Teams of Sudbury "Nippies" have a tug of war. The girls have to have their shoes inspected - presumably for studs - so they crouch down on the ground and a man comes along and looks at their shoe bottoms. Good shot of the team in the black and white shirts straining on the rope. C/U of one of the girls with a very resolute look on her face. Shot of other teams pulling on the rope. L/S of two teams pulling against each other.
