Summary
NoS Summary - new fashions in legwear - boots and spattees. The Scottish wool gaiter and the Russian boot.
NoS synopsis: "Will the Russian boot sweep the field again?" Three smartly dressed models walk through a city park wearing shiny high heeled boots. C/U of their booted feet. "No," says Scotland. This is the answer - something much neater, in wool - " A woman sits on a metal chair in the park. She takes something out of her handbag, hooks it over the heel of her shoe then rolls it up her leg. C/U of her legs with the new invention - woolly socks that fit over your shoes! The model gets up and turns so that we can see the back of the socks. "Take your choice - boots or spattees - " Group of 6 women stand together, three wearing boots, the other three in spattees. One of the girls holds her leg up and points her toes, showing off the latest in spattees! One of the other women holds up her booted leg. C/U of three pairs of legs with different spattees. The women walk off into the distance.
