Summary
NoS Summary - Mr Huntley Wright famous comedian, in samples of make-up.
NoS synopsis: Title card reads: "A camera interview with Mr Huntley Wright the Comedian". "Many of the older Theatre-goers remember Mr. Wright in "The Geisha" - but very few saw him start his famous "Wun Hi" part in this way -". Mr Wright "makes-up" for the part. This includes a "pigtail" wig. Mr Wright makes some funny faces to camera then is given a bowler hat. ""I’m Mrs. Brown - in "The Country Girl". Do come and have a cup of tea!"" By a magical transformation camera trick we see Mr Wright dressed as a woman. """The Silhouette Cutter" - in "The Lady of the Rose", called for another kind of face -". "And as Lord Tankerdown in "None But the Brave" - a meek inoffensive face -". "With the aid of the butler (Henry Wenman) and a wee drop - his first taste!" The actor performs scenes as "The Silhouette Cutter" in "The Lady of the Rose" and "Lord Tankerdown" in "None But the Brave". "He temporarily eliminates his rival (George de Warfay)".
