Summary

NoS Summary - patterned and embroidered stockings.
NoS synopsis: Main title for this item is superimposed over a shot of a pair of legs as they walk up some steps, seen from behind. "The bizarre of yesterday is the commonplace of today - even in stockings - and the very latest styles in hosewear seem to bear this out." Models walk up some steps in a studio setting, as the girls reach the top of the stairs they pose for a moment. We see them from the neck down only as they are showing their hosiery. A C/U of one pair of ankles reveals an ornately embroidered pair of stockings with a flower and dragonfly motif. The model turns her feet and walks off. "The next are fine net and may be worn over light stockings (or bare legs) as fancy dictates. (No ladders lurk within their silken mesh.)" C/U of legs from the knee down modelling these stockings. "The floral fashion - with patterns woven in the silk - not printed or stencilled - " C/U of stockings from the knee down which feature a large rose motif. "Other styles -" - one involves a magnifying glass being held close to the stockings to show the intricately woven pattern. "For those who like glitter -" there is a C/U of stockings featuring gaudy sewn on bead and bells motif on the ankles. "And for those of quieter taste, the very last work in jewelled bracelet hose - " Incomplete.
