NoS synopsis: ""The Vanity Bag has always been an essential to Eve - and her indispensible handbags now require a great deal of elaborate work to satisfy her whims," says Mr. Hantwurcel. So we watched them being made. First the outer material is out -" Two types of material are cut out to make handbags. "- and "gathered up" -". The outer, patterned material is gathered up and sewn. "Then the lining is stitched and sewn in to the outer cover - and a mirror attached." A pocket is attached to the lining and then it is stitched to the outer layer. C/U of woman at a sewing machine. A mirror is attached to the inside of the bag. "Now the frame. This is covered, mounted in the bag, and the inner pocket put in -". C/U of woman’s hands preparing the frame before it is inserted using a several different tools. "- and a handle completes the job." A handle is then attached. Many different bags are displayed for the camera.
