- NoS synopsis: ‘Now let the Kiddies spend a minute with "THE NOAH FAMILY" from the Children’s Corner of "the Daily News".' ‘You saw last week how annoyed Mr. Noah was with Japhet when they went fishing and before leaving, Mr. Noah promised a cake to the one who caught the biggest fish - Selina, Matilda and Tim Tossett all had luck, and so did Japhet? - for he successfully bribed a fishmonger’s boy to give him his biggest fish’. ‘The judging of the biggest fish - and the awarding of the prize’. Scene inside a house. Mr and Mrs Noah applaud as Selina, Matilda and Tim bring in their fish. Mr Noah gives Tim the cake. Then Japhet brings in an even bigger fish, so Mr Noah takes back the cake and gives it to Japhet. THe boys exit. ‘What ever do you think? When Mr Noah examined the fish Japhet said he had caught, he discovered this -'. Close up of a receipt from "James Spratt and Co." for 1 Cod. ‘And this is what happens. Surely you’re not in the least surprised!'. Mr Noah take the cake from Japhet, puts him over his knee and spanks him. ‘If the kiddies like the Noah Family further adventures can be seen in The Children’s Corner of "The Daily News".'
