NoS synopsis: ‘Yesterday and to-day No.1’ intertitle with cartoons of a stage coach and a ‘plane in the background. ‘If Rip Van Winkle could visit London Bridge after a 100 years nap, he would see some changes -'. ‘1821 - 1921 (Early record by courtesy of Ellis & Smith.) Close up of an etching of London Bridge and its environs. Fade to a long shot of the London Bridge of 1921. A few cars and buses go by. Pan to the nearside bank where men are at work on scaffolding. St Paul’s in seen in the distance.
