- Summary
- COI synopsis: Man-made fibres with an anti-static treatment which won’t wash out. They’re impregnated with carbon, which conducts electric current so static charge can never build up. Already being used in coal mines, where a spark can mean an explosion, in the future they could even be used for low power heating.
