Summary
COI synopsis: What are simply old crocks to some, can pove to be crocks of gold to others. That is what New Zealander Barbara Ewing discovered when she attended an auction of vintage cars at Christie’s. Even the experts were surprised at the high prices these old crocks fetched.
Researcher Comments
The auction was being held at the Cunard Exhibition Centre in West London. Includes an interview with Richard Brooks who organised the sale. Vehicles featured include a 1921 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost, a 1926 Bugatti and a 1974 E-type V12. NB: Information drawn from the Australian version
