Summary
COI synopsis: Barbara Ewing visits the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham, which though not the largest exhibition complex in the world, is certainly the most modern. A look behind the scenes, while a major show was being set-up, demonstrated that what goes on under the exhibition hall floor is as important as what happens above it.
Researcher Comments
Includes an interview with Mike Mason who runs an intepreting and translation service. The exhibtion being prepared was the ‘Home Exhibition’. NB: Information drawn from the Australian version
