Summary
COI synopsis: Britain now has 400 wine growers, ranging from small vineyards to huge estates. The white wine they produce is now recognised as excellent quality - and this year for the first time, some have received a "quality seal" - like the French ‘Appellation Controlee’. Australian reporter Vicki Luke visits the Charleston Manor Wine Festival - and hopefully gets a taste of vintage ‘79!
Researcher Comments
Includes an interview with the festival’s organiser, Christopher Anne. NB: Information drawn from the Australian version
