Summary
COI synopsis: Vicki Luke goes to Salon International, Britain’s trade fair for the hairdressing industry, which attracts visitors from all over the world. Britain is the acknowledged leader in the field of hair fashion but some of the eye boggling hairstyles on display go beyond the wildest imagination. However, it was a group of hairstylists, models, dancers and acrobats from Nigeria who stole the show with their fascinating traditional styles and their carefree sense of fun.
Researcher Comments
According to the final commentary script, people featured include hairdressing school owner Adele Morris and stylist Robert Lebeter. NB: Information drawn from the Australian version. ‘London Line, No. 591’ ran the same story
