- COI synopsis: Recently a young footballer made sporting history - when Viv Anderson became the first black player to be selected for England. He’s one of several British youngsters of Caribbean ancestry who are making their mark in this sport - although their fathers probably played nothing but cricket. Our reporter visits one First Division club, West Bromwich Albion, which fields no less than three very talented black players.
