- Summary
- COI synopsis: The British Library is probably the most comprehensive library service in the world. It incorporates a massive reference division housed mostly in the British Museum, where Diana MacLean visits the famous Reading Room, and a lending division which can find any registered publication in the world. Diana takes advantage of this service to order an article from an obscure periodical which is traced, photocopies and delivered to her own public library.
- Researcher Comments
- Locations visited also include the British Library Lending Division at Boston Spa, West Yorkshire and the Library of the Department of Education and Science in York Road, London. NB: Information drawn from the Australian version. ‘London Line, No. 540’ contains substantial footage from this film.
