- Summary
- COI synopsis: Penny Croucher this week on that much abused, long-suffering species of mankind - women. 1975 is International Women’s Year, and in Britain it’s also the year when two major Parliamentary Bills come into force that could revolutionise life for women in Britain: one for equal pay, the other against sex discrimination by employers. Penny Croucher talks to women in all kinds of jobs, from Ann Davis on the factory floor to life peer and reformer Baroness Sear about the social revolution that could transform women’s lives.
