- COI synopsis: John Schlesinger is one of a group of British film directors who have brought their own distinctive styles to the international cinema in the past decade. His films include the award winning ‘Midnight Cowboy’ and ‘Sunday, Bloody Sunday’. Michele Brown talked to him about his attitudes to the films and filming and how he goes about selecting his scripts and stories.
