Summary
COI synopsis: London Line visited the Design Centre just off Piccadilly Circus, to discover anything new and outstanding in industrial design in Britain. The choice was very wide, from advanced engineering to children’s toys. Of the various prize winners London Line chose two. So this week we investigate first a breakthrough in airport safety and second a new method that can now be adapted to many other manufactures. But there is so much in the field of industrial design still to be covered, that London Line expects to go back later for more.
