- Summary
- COI synopsis: Britain’s great houses were a centre for a whole rural industry. The economy changed; many of the houses and their parks remain and adapt to new industry. For some it is tourism, while a few have gone further and have ventured into the animal kingdom. Inspired by Africa’s vast and spectacular game parks, British experts have established smaller intensive game parks in England where the variety of wild game can be studied at close hand. London Line meets African experts in Britain whose concern is not just the tourist value of animals in the African parks, but also to study how wild game can pay its way as a valuable source of food.
