- Summary
- COI synopsis: A look at some problems which have defied solution over the years; at the men who were determined to overcome them; and at the ideas which finally supplied the answers. Shouldn’t it be possible to give a surgeon detailed blue-prints of his patient’s anatomy before he starts an operation? A doctor at Manchester Medical School thought it should, and spent years perfecting a machine which now produces accurate plans and elevations of the human body - and most significantly the head.
