Summary
COI synopsis: How new technologies give rise to the redesign of common elements and shapes. Now that typewriter action can be electronically controlled, rather than relying on the common, cumbersome mechanical system, the keyboard too can be completely redesigned. So now we have the first ergonomic keyboard - one which actually fits the finger movements of the typist, so that typing is both quicker and less tiring.
