Summary
COI synopsis: Hitting the core of a problem with pinpoint precision can mean a whole new order of efficiency - or even new life-saving possibilities. One of the biggest hazards for divers is the condition known as "the bends". A small device strapped to a diver’s chest during decompression can for the first time, give instant warning of the onset of "the bends". It pinpoints the formation in the blood of the tiny air bubbles that are, normally, the invisible start of the condition.
