Summary
COI synopsis: A look at some of the hazards of living in the modern world - and a look at some new ideas for making it safer. The motor car: a great emancipator of modern man, or lethal weapon? Probably a bit of both - there’s certainly a lot we can do to make it a safer form of transport. A new device will automatically dim a car’s headlights in well-lit streets, and guarantees that at night a car can be seen by other road users without causing dazzle.
