Summary
COI synopsis: It seems we just can’t stand still; getting around has become a vital part of living today... and living tomorrow. In this issue we look at a few of the machines developed to satisfy our urge to keep on the move. The railways will remain a vital part of our transport system when getting around overland can be as fast as travelling by air. The Advanced Passenger Train uses unique suspension, signalling and brake systems to travel at 150 mph on existing railway track.
