Summary
NoS synopsis: Dr John Bowlby of the Tavistock Clinic talks about his work concerned with the first formative weeks of a baby’s life. Through the study of animals clues are detected. At Cambridge University Dr Hindes experiments with a colony of monkeys. Dr Bowlby asserts that if complicated processes forming behaviour patterns can be established experimentally then the treatment of neurosis in later life could make an advance as great as any in medicine in the last hundred years.
