Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The Royal Tournament. DESCRIPTION: The Royal Hong Kong Police Band, along with their Lion Dancers, made a colourful contribution to the Royal Tournament. The Royal Signals Motor Cycle Display Team, The White Helmets, performed some of the stunts which have made them popular all over the world. Events which have become established parts of the Royal Tournament are the Musical Drive by the Kings Troops, Royal Artillery and the Navy Field Gun Competition. SHOTLIST: MS Hong Kong Police Band lion dance. MS Hong Kong police women in ribbon dance. MS lion dance (3 shots). MS ‘The White Helmets’ motor cycle team past. GV motor cycle crossing in arena (2 shots). MS two men stand on bike. MS three men on one bike. MS White Helmets form a pyramid (2 shots). MS cyclist through flaming hoop. MS the Household Cavalry, 7 shots as they perform a quadrille. CU sign Fleet Air Arm. CU sign Devonport sequence of Royal Navy Field Gun Competition won by Devonport.
