MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Toy and Hobby Fair. DESCRIPTION: The biggest ever Toy Fair was staged at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham. Together with many new toys were hobbies for people of all ages, and there to demonstrate the game of backgammon, film star Omar Sharif. SHOTLIST: MS boxes of puppet Gooney birds. MCU Gooney bird scratching head. Shots of Gooney birds in action. MS gorilla on trapeze. Various of Lundby dolls house showing interior and miniature furniture being made. MS and various of ‘Play Doh’ with ‘hollow’ man used to make shapes. MS Omar Sharif on backgammon stand with girls. Various of Sharif demonstrating game.
