MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: British Grand Prix. DESCRIPTION: World Champion James Hunt claimed the ‘pole position’ on the grid at the start of the British Grand Prix. For 49 laps, the lead was held by John Watson, then a fault put his Brabham out of the race. Hunt took the lead and kept it until the chequered flag, thus delighting the British crowd.
