- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The FA Cup Final - Liverpool V Manchester United. DESCRIPTION: League winners Liverpool meet Manchester United to contest for the FA Cup and their fans turn the Wembley terraces into a mass of red and white. There was no score in the first half, but in the space of five minutes in the second half three goals were scored. Stuart Pearson of United kicked in the opening goal and within two minutes Jimmy Case equalised for Liverpool. The goal that was to take the Cup to Manchester was scored by Jimmy Greenhoff.
