- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Rugby League Cup Final St. Helens V Widnes. DESCRIPTION: St. Helens and Widnes were the finalists who came to Wembley’s famous turf to do battle for the Rugby League Challenge Cup. St. Helens opened the scoring with a try by Eddie Cunningham and Geoff Pimblett converted to make it 5 points to nil. The final score - St. Helens 20, Widnes 5, a victory to the SAINTS. SHOTLIST: MCU ball on ground, it is kicked at 306’ by Widnes No 7 Reg Bowden. MLS pan with ball in the air, it is caught by St. Helens player who starts to run with the ball.
