MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: New Zealand Test Match at Lord’s. DESCRIPTION: Woolley makes 80 in first innings reply of England to New Zealand’s total of 224 at Lord’s. Folomain: Two young teams fought an even battle at Lord’s on the first day of the only Test Match of the New Zealander’s tour, described here by Mr MD Lyon. But the batting honours went to the veteran Frank Woolley, who contributed 80 to England’s total of 190 for 7 after the visitors had won the toss and made 224 runs on a good wicket.
