Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Bean Throwing Ceremony. DESCRIPTION: An ancient Japanese custom to mark the advent of Spring, is the ‘Bean Throwing Festival’. To cast the devil out and bring good in, the temple priests throw beans at the gathered crowd. SHOTLIST: MS exterior of shrine roof.
