DESCRIPTION: For many years the English Holiday scene has meant a day out at the seaside, a walk along the "prom" and a saunter to the end of the pier. But time and tide have left the piers with a very shaky financial and structural future. In Brighton it could mean "the end of the Piers". SHOTLIST: GV West Pier, tide coming up on beach.
