MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Pardubice Steeplechase. DESCRIPTION: The Great International Steeplechase at Pardubice is said to be the toughest in the world. British rider Chris Collins, first last year, comes in third. SHOTLIST: SV pan a rider in group on course they jump a hump at 1’. SV pan a horse approaches the water jump but refuses and turns round at 11’. LV rider over jump at 19’, a rider falls off closely followed by three others. SV pan No 17 on course followed by others. SV rider approaching the water jump at 41’ two riders fall, one horse and rider fall in water, the other falls after water. LV winner coming in over jump at 62’ pan to BV at 65’. SV winner on horse. GV man with binoculars. SV winner.
