Summary

MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Sports Contest. DESCRIPTION: Socialist countries compete in the 5th International Military Sports Contest at Povazska Bystrica. The courses are tough and the glory of the regiment is at stake. SHOTLIST: GV opening parade pan as they go past. MS people watching. MCS parachutist landing pan down with them. MS parachutist with flag landing. MS 2 men starting in a race, jumping over a horse & then over a wall. MS 2 men appear over wall. MS running across plank of wood. MS men crawling under a frame. MS target in back, men firing in front gets up and runs off. MS man running in and jumps on stretcher and carries on round track. MS start womens race. CU women throwing ball. MS target at which she is throwing. MS girl running over plank of wood. MS girl running through square frame. MS 2 girls with stretcher waiting for other girl. MS boy with rifle running through wood, man with telescope. CU men firing rifle. MS men finishing race. MS men getting winners medal.
