MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Offshore Powerboat Race Colour. DESCRIPTION: The 1974 Embassy/Daily Express International Offshore Powerboat Race from Cowes to Torquay and back. The winner was Carlo Bonomi in ‘Dry Martini’ at a world record speed of 66.9 miles an hour. Second and third for Great Britain were ‘Wiggins Teape’ and ‘I Like It’.
