Summary

MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Australian Rugby. DESCRIPTION: It should be named Aqua-Rugby - as New Zealand beat Australia in a match played in torrential rain. SHOTLIST: GV All Blacks in possession on rain soaked pitch, player kicks (No 14) ball, an Australian player catches it, he is tackled, the ball goes loose & players mill about on the wet pitch, All Blacks gain possession, No 10 receives ball & makes a run, he is tackled & brought down, ball goes lose, players flock round ball. SV sparsely populated seats lashing down with rain. SV fight between Australians and All Blacks player, it breaks up as Australians run off. LV game in progress on soaked pitch. SV crowd. LV All Blacks attack and Duncan Robertson goes over line to score. SV scoreboard (All Blacks 11 Australia 6). LV players walk off soggy pitch.
