Summary

MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Scottish Cup Final Colour. DESCRIPTION: Celtic versus Dundee in the Scottish Cup Final at Hampden Park, won by Celtic 3/0. SHOTLIST: GV 2 teams run onto pitch from tunnel. SV Referee Mr JW Paterson and two Captains Billy McNeill and Doug Smith. GV crowd. GV kick off Dundee left to right, pan GV game progresses, Dundee attack. SV Celtic in possession No 8 Harry Hood crosses. GV Dundee in possession attacking No 1 Doug Houston shoots but ball goes wide. GV Alsatian running onto pitch pan GV police carry dog off. GV Celtic in possession attacking No 11 Kenny Dalglish with ball. GV No 8 Harry Hood rushes up field to head ball in the goal, pan other players congratulate him pan up to crowd. SV No 8 being congratulated. GV game in progress Celtic attacking. SV No 8 Hood with ball passes to Dixie Deans who passes back to No 8 who passes to Jimmy Johnstone No 7 who passes to No 4 Steve Murray, who scores, zoom into goalie. GV Celtic players congratulate Murray pan to crowd cheering. SV police taking a supporter off. SV hurt supporter being attended to. SV ditto being carried off on stretcher. LV play in progress Dundee attack (right to left), ball is crosses Celtic’s goal No 6 Walter Smith fails to head ball in net and ball is kicked out of play by Celtic player. GV Dundee attacking No 9 Andy Gray heads ball, Dundee keep possession around Celtic goal but fail to score, goalie alerts ref as Celtic player is hurt. SV corgi dog on pitch. GV game in progress Dundee attacking. GV Celtic attack goalie Sandy Davie clears ball, Celtic regain possession, Deans shoots but ball goes over goal. LV game in progress & Deans scores players congratulate him. GV crowd cheering. LV Celtic players with cup. SV crowd applauding. SV players dressed and leaving with cup.
