MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Fuel Crisis. DESCRIPTION: No Sunday driving in West Germany. One motorist pedals his way out of the problem. SHOTLIST: GV Main Street mass of cars down it. STV BV mass of cars on main street. GTV Sunday Nov 25th roads almost completely empty pan across to empty street. SV empty streets, empty highways. SV policeman controlling car on street. SV people gathered around car, bonnet up pan into engine compartment showing chain and sprocket. CU interior people & chain drive on floor of car pan up to two men looking inside. SV pedals and chain drive attacked to floor behind driver’s seat, people in car. CU feet on pedals. CU ditto door closes, car away. SV passenger door open showing passenger pedalling. SV BV car along road.
