Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Safety in Fireworks. DESCRIPTION: Hungarian People’s Army demonstrate how to put on a firework display in perfect safety. The fireworks are lit by remote control. SHOTLIST: SV lorry parked by embankment & look out tower, a barrier comes down in front of camera. SV fireworks under preparation pan up to three men preparing them. 6 SVs, metal tubes being mounted into concrete blocks, explosives being lowered into tubes by firework expert from Nitro Kemic of Fusfo, standing by firework, SV man routing ignition cable down firing pipe, man wiring up fireworks, people standing by firing pipes. CU firing pipes’ tops being sealed. 3 SVs firing pipes ready to be fired, ditto on left ignition cables on right up wall, bunker soldiers of People’s Army about to fire them. GV search light in air. CU switch is thrown. GV first explosion. CU switches. SV 2nd explosion. GV 3rd. SV two soldiers watching. GV fireworks in sky. CU man. GV rocket firing into sky pan to explosion in sky.
