SV pan hair stylist Teazy Weazy with family, pan down showing his striped trousers. GV crowds and river with coxless four race in progress. SV people watching. SV pan as coxless four row past. SV 4 people in canoe, angle shot oars, angle shot crew carrying boat out of shed, boat over camera. SV rowing type watching. SV 8 crew putting boat into water. Angle shot pan down crew taking cars away from shed. CU oar being fixed into rowlock. CU oarsman putting his feet into position. SV cox getting into position. LS as 8 boat leaves. SV starter with flag. GV start of Britannia Challenge Cup race No 44 - Quintin Boat Club on far side - Thames Tradesman’s Rowing Club. SV pan people walking along beside river. SV man with long hair. LV zoom back to GV as Quintin Boat Club wins race - past post at 126’. SCU winning crew. LV start of Diamond Challenge Scull race No 45 between S Drea of the Neptune Rowing Club, Eire (nearest camera) & JW Castellan of the USA. SCU legs of 2 rowing types, 1 without shoes pan up to looking at programme. GV zoom in as Drea passes the winning post to win. CU starter holding flag up and shouting Are you ready to go?. GV start of Princess Elizabeth Challenge Cup between Groton School (USA) and Bryanston School (eights), Groton on far side. CU pan lady in umpire’s launch. GV zoom in as the 8 crews race up river. SV Groton well in lead, they pass winning post to win. (Leslie Mitchell seen in story).
